About me: Shifu Julia began martial arts training with Dr Wen Linjun in 1993, practicing Wushu, Shaolin, Taiji Quan, SanDa, Bagua Zhang and Qigong.

After an intensive 3 year training programme she graduated in 2001 with a teaching diploma from the SanLing Wushu College, majoring in Taiji Quan and minoring in Bagua Zhang. She has continued to train with Chen Xiao Wang, Chen Zheng Lei, Gianna Sabatelli, Huang Ping and Liu Quan Jun.

In 2007 Shifu Julia won silver for the 42 sword form at Seni’s Open European Wushu Competition and went on to win Gold at 21st Festival of Chinese Martial Arts and British Open Tai Chi Championships. In 2008 Julia was head judge for the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts National Championships.

She has been awarded 4th Daun Wei from the Chinese Wushu Association.

Being a qualified acupuncturist, Julia is able to teach Taiji Quan to all people of all abilities.
